My eligibility interview is next week at Etobicoke office. Please anyone who had his/hers recently, what are the expected questions. Also my return notice documents say I should bring identity documents & 4 passport photos meanwhile I already submitted these during my first interview (biometrics).

The interview will be short and quick. They are going to ask you questions about your case for example why did you leave your country? What will happen if you return back ? When did u leave etc. At the end of your interview your going to sign a number of documents and papers and they are going to give you the refugee ID( the browser paper). It is a very similar process and they have to do it to refer your case to IRB. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your response. Do I still need to go with any documents? since I already submitted all on the biometrics day

Take whatever is being asked. Don't take chances.
You are required to bring with you the following:
• This original appointment letter;
• All original identity documents including passport(s), travel document(s), identity
card(s) and birth certificate from your home country.
• 4 original passport size photos.
-------------------------------------------------

This was exactly how it was written in my previous appointment, my passport has been seized and I also submitted 4 passport photos.

Only appointment letter is enough no need to keep pictures or any other documents for eligibility interview

Thanks guys for all your responses, my interview went well, no serious questions were asked. It was more like a discussion. I got my brown paper same day.

Please who has any idea about expected time for hearing, also I saw on this website some people do virtual hearing, is it an option one can select?

How long until you receive a hearing will partially depend on whether your case requires a short hearing or a regular hearing. Could be a few months to well over a year. Given the volume of applicants over the summer there could be additional delays. Partially depends if you come from a country with a high rate of approval of cases for example Eritrea, Yemen, Afghanistan, etc.
