Hi all,

i am applying for a conjugal sponsorship. Right now, the principal applicant’s eligibility has been completed since February 21. Any idea guys if this is a positive completion? I am not looking forward to receiving any PFL, (praying to God). We have 3 dependants on our application,1
Accompanying and 2 non-accompanying. Their medicals are completed already except for 1 of the non accompanying dependant.

The non-accompanying dependent must do their medical or everything will be put on hold.

That’s true. Because right now, the backgroun checking hasn’t started yet since we are still waiting for the assesment on the medical result of my dependant.

in what part of the process do they usually give PFL and additinal document? Is it during background or eligibility checking? Thanks for your input!

It can happen at anytime during the process.

Unless you've had a recent Procedural Fairness communication from IRCC 'Elegibility Completed' is usually good news.
Hi there, we had procedural fairness and eligibility is completed since March 2022 first week. Do you think this is a good news?

There's no way to know for sure, but it likely isn't bad news. IRCC agents are EXTREMELY overworked, and they're all drowning working on applications. If they've decided that you're not eligible they'd likely let you know sooner rather than later. You might want to reach out to IRCC either by telephone or web form to try to get an update.

Fingers crossed for you, and please keep us updated.
