Eligibility and Background status on Tracker

I applied for a visitor visa on 2nd November 2023 Biometrics were taken from previous application which was refused. On 27th January 2024 on tracker it shows eligibility is completed and down there it shows Activity status updated: Background verification
Background verification status has been updated to In progress.
Can anyone tell me what should I expect? Or what does it mean? Or anyone faced same thing can He or She share the result?

There is a big chance your visa is approved. I applied on Jan 17th because my previous request was refused as well, however mine has not shown eligibility complete or nothing but in progress.

1. Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence.
2. The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
3. Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence.

Wow i can see your refusual reason were kind of tough. Hoping you were able to cover all of that with your new application.

Mine were only not sufficient ties to country and purpose of travel not consistent.

In my new application i added my kids birth certificate, job letter which i work for a Canadian bank, with bank statement, vehicle registration and i changed the purpose of travel now its due to my fiance birthday party.

Do you think this might work this time?
