Hi All,
I live in US and my wife is from poland. We have been having particular difficulty in finding a H1B sponser in US for her. We both have 4+ years of experience in Electronics/Electrical engineering specializing in Embedded Automotive field. I work in US with a valid H1B. I was looking for ways for us to be together and thus I found out about the AINP.

The process seems straight forward. However when I started looking for jobs in our field, and I was very surprised to find almost none in the high-tech sector. I have looked at most of the job sites and havent been successfull in finding even one prospective job.

Is Alberta a good move for us? Does anyone know how the high-tech situation is in Alberta? Where should I look?

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Abe

Anything automotive sounds more like it would be in Quebec or ON rather than AB. AB has oilfields and they need pipefitters, welders etc. I think more than high tech electronics. Still, if you qualify for AINP, you can apply and go there and see how it goes for you finding a job.

Here are all the job search engines I know about:
