I am an electrical engineer graduate from a university in Canada that is looking into obtaining my electrician license! I looked online for what i need to be doing but things were not clear! My question is: Will i be able to just take the red seal electrician exam to have the my electrician license? Or do i need to do more than that as an electrical engineer?!

You probably want to obtain your professional engineering designation. That designation will allow you to practise as an electrical engineer. The electrician license
is not applicable to engineers, only to skilled tradespeople.

If you are in Ontario then you will want to become a member of this organization:

As an electrical engineering graduate in Canada, you typically cannot take the Red Seal electrician exam directly. You’ll need to complete an apprenticeship and meet the required hours before qualifying. Some provinces may grant credit for your degree, reducing the apprenticeship time, but you’ll still need hands-on experience and to pass the provincial exam first. Check with your province’s apprenticeship authority for specific requirements.
