I have recently completed my Bachelor of Business Administration (4 year bachelor degree after grade 12)

After completing my grade 10, I started working as full-time Electrician and then continued my Grade 12 and then Bachelor degree in evening classes. Now I want to apply for Canadian Immigration. Here is breakthrough of my points.

Education: B.B.A 4 years
Experience: 6 years as Electrician but without diploma or apprenticeship but on the job training with same firm
Age: 23
Uncle in Canada:
IELTS: 6.5 in each module

Now my question is can I claim points for my Electrician experience as I don,t have prior education relate to my experience?
Will I get full points for my Bachelor degree?

Any comments please

Buddy u will get 22 points for Education ,10 point for Age,14 point for Ielts,5 point for Adaptability and if Married then 10 for that,Unfortunately Ur Experience will not count as per my knowledge coz what i heard EXP will count after Bachelor's or in the last year of BBA.

this is my opinion let see what other say

Experience counted after the graduation for that profession. Not before.
In your case I am not sure. But it seems to me your experience may not be counted.

Experience will be counted as Electrician don,t need a Bachelor degree to work as.
You need a secondary school certificate and on the job training to work as Electrician

With no formal apprenticeship, a requirement for 7241 I think they will classify you as an electrician helper, then I could be wrong.

I apologize but I could not get your point. You mean that I cannot get points for Electrician but You are not sure about your statement. Is it?

1. Look you are claiming to be an electrician, but you didn't have a formal apprenticeship.
2. Either the processing office will accept that you are an electrician, but more than likely decide that your duties were more in the line as a helper.
3. Since I am not the VO reviewing the application, everyone would be guessing how your work is going to be treated either as electrician, or a helper. If it is helper, you will be refused.

As per CIC

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf

OP 6 Section 6.1
Note: For the purpose of skilled worker applications "Employment Requirements" listed in the description of each occupation are not applicable

So still I cannot get points as an Electrician?
