Electrical Engineer

Hi Sir/Ma'am,

I'm registered electrical engineer in the Philippines. I have almost 7years working experience in the related field. If luckily, I migrated in Manitoba,Canada can I find a work their with the same electrical engineering field? I know we have different standard between Canada and Philippines.
Do I have to study first in Manitoba to meet their standards?

hello,

You won't be able to work as an Engineer right away. You need to have your professional credentials assessed and get certified as an Engineer in Canada. Each Province has it's own procedure and requirements.

I think in Manitoba, you can contact the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba (APEGM). They can let you know about the steps to follow. Hope that helps.
