Hi All
I am applying to sponsor my husband to come to Canada under the Family Class as an Outland applicant. My husband is British.
I'm having a look ahead at the schedule A form and I'm not sure what we should state in response to the following question:
Question 4: c) Have you or your family ever; been convicted of, or are currently charged with, on trial for, or party to a crime or offence, or subject of any criminal proceedings in any country?
My husband got a police caution when he was 18 for possession of marijuana. Nothing before or after that incident. I know Canada doesn't recognize cautions so I'm wondering if the answer would be yes or no? We haven't had the police check done yet but based on research I'm certain it will show up on there. Although I don't think he has a 'criminal record' as a result, it is on his police record.
Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance!
