Proof of sponsor's intention to return to Canada???

You’re most welcome! Wow that’s a long wait you’ve had!!! Which VO are you? We got PPR back in February via London VO. I guess as they say each officer is different and maybe has different things they are looking for unfortunately :( I’m sorry it’s taking so long for you.

Proof of sponsor's intention to return to Canada???

Hello! I think my family and friends all wrote “to whom it may concern” and then confirmed my intentions to relocate to Canada, that we have been planning this for x amount of time, my mum stated we would be staying with her etc. I also wrote a game plan letter stating what our plans were such...

Send Photocopies of Evidence? Send full documents?

Thanks for all your replies everyone!!! Much appreciated as always :) Police certificate needs to be original though right? We applied for the Police cert ahead of time as suggested and it came really quickly so I'm planning to just send it in with the application.

Send Photocopies of Evidence? Send full documents?

Hey guys I know the guides say to send only photocopies of important documents but does this include all your evidence such as bank statements, utility bills, tenancy agreements, etc etc? I have a bundle of docs to send as evidence of our ongoing relationship (family sponsorship - married) and...

Giving Date of Return to Canada - Confused!

Thanks for the reply! :) I do agree I don't think it makes much sense for them to refuse people based on them having an actual date planned. I'm just going to stick with honesty is the best policy and state our whole plan for moving. I know others have said using specific dates can work against...

    eIMM5669E Schedule A - Police Caution

Thank you for your response!! :) My confusion was more to do with what to give as the answer to the question rather than whether it would make him inadmissible. After much extensive reading (including the link you sent, thank you!) we will say 'yes' and provide details on a separate sheet...

Giving Date of Return to Canada - Confused!

Hi guys I have yet another question that's come up after reading some (old) posts on here. I have been planning to put in the form and game plan letter that I will move back to Canada in March 2018. My hubby (PA) will be staying behind in the UK until his PR is approved and I will go to get...

Proof of sponsor's intention to return to Canada???

Oh my gosh, I'm worried now as all the letters I've had my family write are stating we are moving in March 2018 which is when our tenancy on our flat is up. That's only 7 months from now and surely with the stated processing average time of 12 months that wouldn't be deemed as too far in the...

Principal Applicant Crime under 18 years of age

Hi All So just been chatting to hubby and he's remembered that he was arrested twice at the age of 13 years old. He's British (I'm Canadian and the sponsor) and was just given a caution and went home, no court hearing or anything. Once for spray painting a garage door, the second was stealing...

    UK Address Question

Okay thank you so much!! I think I will just put UK as that is how all our letters are addressed and whatnot. Yes definitely overthinking... I'm so scared of making one silly mistake and having huge delays on an already super long process!!

    UK Address Question

Hey guys As the forms say do not abbreviate any of the addresses, such as street, road, etc. What about saying 'UK'? Basically NONE of the address boxes will fit the full addresses with 'United Kingdom' typed at the end of it. Should I just put 'England'? My husband said I shouldn't put England...

    eIMM5669E Schedule A - Police Caution

Also should add the caution was issued 15 years ago and in Canada would only be a sentence up to 6 months. From what I can tell on the rehab application document he would be considered already rehabilitated and therefore isn't considered inadmissable and don't have to apply for rehabilitation...

    eIMM5669E Schedule A - Police Caution

I'm not sure how long that would take and don't want to cause unnecessary delays. Cautions are considered spent as soon as they are issued as they are just a warning.

Relationship History - How much detail?

Thanks for your reply! So it shouldn't be like a detailed description of how we met, started dating, where we went, when he proposed etc? Just a more factual statement?

Relationship History - How much detail?

Hey guys Another couple of questions for you lovely people! 1. I started writing a letter for the "more details about your relationship" section and I got stuck on how much detail should I be putting and how formal/personal would you suggest? The first kiss? Where you went on the first date...

Sorry for hijacking this a bit but I don't remember seeing a request for travel proof in the relationship section. Where is this located as perhaps I somehow missed it? Thanks!

    eIMM5669E Schedule A - Police Caution

Hi All I am applying to sponsor my husband to come to Canada under the Family Class as an Outland applicant. My husband is British. I'm having a look ahead at the schedule A form and I'm not sure what we should state in response to the following question: Question 4: c) Have you or your family...
