EI while spousal sponsorship on process

hello everyone I'm new to this forum and I wanna ask regarding EI..
My husband (who sponsored me) his work really slow now maybe sooner or later they will laid him off, if he goes on EI is there any affect on our spousal sponsorship application?

No, EI is not considered social assistance and won't affect your application at all.
