Egyptian PCC for Non-Resident from Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum Sudan

I am really desperate as I have been requested to submit the Egyptian PCC for my wife who studies in Egypt couple of years back.

I went to the Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum many times asking for the fingerprint which is requested by the security in Egypt, they keep telling me that they have NO such service. One of my friend advised me that his relative did the same from the Egyptian Embassy in UAE and submitted the fingerprint and he got the certificate.

I also check the internet, most of the Egyptian Embassies worldwide (Vienna, US...etc) they have the fingerprint service...but no mention of Sudan.

I am asking if someone ran into the same case before coz my wife cannot travel to Egypt. I need to find out if there any other way to overcome this issue??

A colleague in the forums of a Pakistani nationality did it in the embassy in pakistan & the embassy sent it to Egypt to be verified then he recieved it later from them..

We -Egyptians- made the fingerprints in the embassy, then sent it to Egypt to our relatives where they verified it in the police station, then they resent it to us..

I would suggest you go again to the embassy & insist that they tell you "how is it done"..well, there must be a way after all & they should be the one who know it... if they still don't know ask for a more senior or higher rank employee until they find someone who has an answer -maybe the embassador?

I have just been through all this process, and would like to tell u that...

Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad also refused with the same excuse on my verbal inquiry that they dont have such services. I sent an email then to them with CC to

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt foreign.legalization@mfa.gov.eg, and Us@mfa.gov.eg

They replied me at once, to invite us for finger prints!!.

The Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum doesn't have to have any finger print machines to record the finger impressions of ur spouse. They will simply print out a form indicating all ur information, i.e. name, PP#. etc and will get ur spouse's finger print with blue/black ink on it.

Your spouse should take great care while punching fingers, because the impressions should be very clear and complete.

She will also submit a nominal fee, and 2/3 pics.

Please send me your email id via PM and I will send u the form which embassy has to fill and send it to Egypt Ministry of Foreign Affairs that forwards ur docs to "Adella Jinaeya" (Idara El Aama Adala Jinaeya, Kolia El Shurta El Adeema ) Old Police Academy in Abbasiya, Cairo..


"Adella Jinaeya" is the authority to issue PCCs called "Feesh" or "Sahifa Jinaeya". If u have someone in Cairo who can visit this building in Abbassia, its very easy to collect the PCC within 2 hours after your docs reaches "Adala Jinaeya" .

If not, "Adella Jinaeya" will return ur PCC to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and they courier it back to Khartoum.

In my case the only mistake, staff of Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad made was they sent it to Hawal El Madnia, Interior Ministry, instead of "Adella Jinaeya". That prolonged the process, but I got it in 14 days.

I will email to Ministry of Foreign Affairs but I don't think the embassy in Sudan have monitored emails address, anyway I will try and see the result.

My friend in Egypt insisting that some Sudanese citizens already did the fingerprint in the embassy in Khartoum so I will try my best to find someone senior to explain the situation.

I tried couple of times with no progress also tried reporting through the email and no reply. It seems that they never did this down here and no one know about this process although it is available everywhere else.

I have another trial before traveling to Egypt as a last resort, I will inform you the result.

As an update:

I couldn't manage to get the Egyptian PCC from abroad or travel there due to political clashes.

I explained the situation to the visa office requesting for waiver, but they refused mentioning that it took 4 months to submit the PCC.

Now I am facing the application refusal due to incompliance and missing PCC. I have no idea what would happen next, I failed to challenge the situation and NOW I am looking for after refusal options (is there anyway to revise & resubmit the PCC after refusal??)

CIC has to update their website to inform that NOT all Egyptian embassies has the remote PCC service!!
