GCMS are quite useful and I suggest you order them right now, best timing.Yesterday marked the the beginning of my fifth month since AOR. never order GCMS notes and hopefully won't have to.
I emailed the Cairo office and the other email address everybody was corresponding with and didn't get any answer for which office is processing my application.
anyways hope we all see some progress soon.
which office is processing your application btw?
If you had committed crimes during the periods you were there before the PCC period, don't you think they would've caught you during the times you went there afterwards?Guys is it possible to have rejections if the pcc is dated and not covering the whole duration?for example i used to live in ksa and visited bahrain a lot by car but rarely stayed over, then i moved and reside in bahrain right now, when i tried to apply for pcc from bahrain they issued me pcc only for the period i resided in bahrain and not before since i used to visit bahrain as a visitor and they. Cant issue pcc for visitors,so my question is will i face any issues because my pcc is dated or i will be ok since having a pcc that shows no past criminal record means that i didnt have any issues for the previous times i used to visit bahrain?also on the cic website they mentioned that cic will issue me a letter to obtain bahrain pcc but i triedwithout it and managed to have without any issues,so if they needed another pcc for the previous times maybe theywill send me a request letter to use at the bahraini authorities right??should ibe worried or send an loe via cse toexplain the situation?anyone been in asimilar scenario please???
Thats exactly what am saying so that means that am good to go eventhough my pcc is dated from later right???i dunno what confused me is that i remember reading a scenario of a guy who went to dubai on a visitor visa and stayed there for a few months before finding work then he issued later a work permit and pcc later on,i remember reading that he got refused pcc because his pcc only covered the time when he became a resident and not the duration beforeIf you had committed crimes during the periods you were there before the PCC period, don't you think they would've caught you during the times you went there afterwards?
Dubai PCC doesn't have a date period. Only the issue date.Thats exactly what am saying so that means that am good to go eventhough my pcc is dated from later right???i dunno what confused me is that i remember reading a scenario of a guy who went to dubai on a visitor visa and stayed there for a few months before finding work then he issued later a work permit and pcc later on,i remember reading that he got refused pcc because his pcc only covered the time when he became a resident and not the duration before
Then maybe it was another gulf country am not sure but mine has a starting date on the pcc, what should i doDubai PCC doesn't have a date period. Only the issue date.
CongratsToday I finally received my passport with the visa stamp and my COPR. Time from AOR to COPR is 10 months and a half. Here is my timeline:
2016-07-04: AOR
2016-07-08: Medical passed
2016-07-08: FBI PCC requested
2016-07-27: FBI PCC submitted
2017-02-06: Schedule A requested
2017-02-07: Schedule A submitted
2017-02-09: PPR <<< sent too early by mistake
---------------: Many requests and phone calls to inquire about my family and work history
2017-05-15: COPR
Cairo visa office called me a few times and I got to talk to them on the phone. From this communication I got the impression that they are nice people and that they are trying to accept your application. But they are very disorganized and they make a lot of mistakes. They sent me a PPR by mistake before the background check was complete. And often the representative talking to me on the phone does not understand my application well and seems to be missing important information that is declared clearly in my application.
Also their email communication is very bad. Sometimes their emails are unclear and other times their emails contain plain wrong information. But they call you before or after every email. So you get to ask them for clarifications and/or explain things that they missed. At the final stages of the application, try not to miss any calls. They were calling me from 02 24612200 and they call any time from 9 AM to 3PM.
For the photos that you send along with the passport, it is very important to meet all the photo specifications in the PDF attached to the PPR email. I had to resend new images because the size of my head inside the photo was incorrect. The size of the photo itself was correct, but the size of my head was 0.5 cm larger than the required size.
