Yeah I see but you're a PNP which sometimes makes a difference in timelines.

why is it taking so long. Although your medicals was passed quickly!! ???

Actually the same happened for me, I passed medicals 1 day after AOR, received RPRF request only 10 days after, then twice received additional docs request, and since then its (background check in progess).

Some people say count the time since the last document request not since AOR

I'm guessing Egyptian background check takes a lot of time maybe.

Thank you for the kind wishes :) good luck to all of us!

Our file was transferred to Cairo office in December.
Here is the timeline:

NB Nomination 11/10/16
CIC AOR 24/11/16
Med pass 26/11/16
RPRF 14/12/16
File transfer to Cairo 21/12/16
PPR 22/3/17
Passport sent 18/4/17

On 20/4 we received the email that the visa is issued and we can arrange a DHL pick up after 2 working days.

We did send web form inquiry few times before receiving the PPR and 1 GCMS notes requested.

Hope this helps.

i work as a full time dentist in a private dental clinic, i got the experience letter written in a good way .
but my issue is that i get paid in cash!
i got no record of getting paid.
its a 2 year full time job and i am too afraid to get rejected .

No one ever said pay slips are mandatory!!! don't know why so many people stress about it, relax just get a proper ref letter and you'll be absolutely fine
