Do we need to get them attested, from foreig affairs ?

I used the certified translator in Alex and did not attest it from Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

So if the certificate was issued more than 6 months ago, you sure need a new one because you left Egypt "after" the certificate was issued. Do not assume that they will not care about these few days spent in Egypt after the certificate was issued. They do care and some people were rejected because of that.

If the certificate was issued recently, then I am not sure if they will go by the 6 months rule in the quote above. Or they will go by the 3 months written on the certificate. But I think it is safer to get a new certificate (apply from outside Egypt) if the one you have was issued more than 3 months ago.

So if i issued the pcc less than 3 months before submission i will be in the safe side correct??will it differ if i issue the computerized pcc or the old one will it make a difference?because my plan is to issue one from here through the embassy where i will have to give them my fingerprints at the embassy then will send it to my family in egypt to issue me pcc from there in case i wasnt able to go egypt myself and issue one in the next few weeks,is that ok?

Thanks but how come they dont have any contact numbers?are they certified?i did some translations at a translation office named el amira nourhan am not sure if its ok though

I think they prefer written correspondence that's why there's no phone number.
They are certified translation office from many embassies. I have no clue about El Amira Nourhan but you can call them up and ask if they are certified by the Canadian Embassy.

To be honest I do not know much about the process of getting a PCC when you are outside Egypt. But if you have an Egyptian PCC which was issued less than 3 months ago then you should be good.

I just did the translation for PCC at the translation office that's all. No one asks for anything so far.

You can issue the PCC from the embassy here in Ottawa, but it takes up to 3 months to be ready!

To be honest I do not know much about the process of getting a PCC when you are outside Egypt. But if you have an Egyptian PCC which was issued less than 3 months ago then you should be good.

From my understanding you will send your fingerprints to egypt either through the embassy or through someone you know in egypt to issue pcc,but i believe that the embassy route will be very slow

you dont get it from there..you get the normal arabic one from any local police station then go for the translation in lazou3'ly ministry of justice for about 30 pounds.

What is the issue of fear from being processed in the Cairo visa office? I know they are super slow but can anyone confirm that if i do an address change now and continue as inland, would that be possible to be processed elsewhere or in ottawa maybe? Anyone got a clue?
