The computer one comes on the same day afternoon or the next morning, but you'd need the regular ink one from any police station, mine took 3 days.

Well I don't really see any possible way beside waiting, ask them at the embassy if there's any way to speed it up since in Egypt there's always a way lol

Dear experts,

I have been working in a public university (NOC 4011) for more than 8 years now. I am not quite sure whether I should indicate this working experience under (personal history, specifically activity type) as "employment" or "government".

I am confused with some questions under the "government" choice and could not provide their answers such as:
* The name of the government department
* The branch within the department
* The level of government

Any similar situations or suggestions about whether I should categorize this working experience as "employment" or "government"?!

Yes and photocopies of the passport thats right I forgot them, but that was all. You can do an upfront medical or wait after ITA, better wait, cause medical is valid for 1 year, so if you finished your medical for example Nov 10 2016, and received PR anytime later, you'll HAVE to land before Nov 10 2017, so the later the medical the better.

Some clinics request you bring the ITA letter (email) with you, but mine just took a quick look at it like it didn't matter


I think the reason they requested forms is that they're still used to the old system before EE, cause mine wanted UCI number and after I said I'm EE he said oh nevermind just the passport number then.

why ink? This thing has been said a lot.. has the computer been rejected? Besides it has become very rare these days to find the manual one..

Employment. Government is for jobs like jugdes, police, security organizations.. etc, it clearly states that in Schedule A form (a form they might ask you to fill after you submit)

They're not required, they're additional supporting documents that you can add to make a stronger case for yourself but if you dont have them no problem there (as long as your ref letter covers all the CIC requirements)

I read it in a few places too, and my friends who immigrated told me to do the ink one so I'm not really sure why but it seems like the safer option. I think every local police station still uses the ink one, here in Alexandria we only have the computerized one in 3 places

Anyone was able to open an account in a Canadian bank online without having to be physically present there? I am thinking that once I get the PPR issued that I would open an account, but heard different opinions.
