We finally got the PPR after nearly 12 months .
Did any one get ( tasre7 safar ) from the military after finishing the service but still in the reserve force ?
How long did it take, and what is the process?

I know it doesn't take a lot of time.
You go with the temporary certificate and your " bayan el keed el 3a2ely " to mant2t el tagniid you belong. If not, you can go to " edaret el tagnid wel ta3be2a " in nasr city Cairo.
I think the process is easy as long as you already finished your service.

Hello,
I have an inquiry once I go to land in Canada for the first time after receiving my PR, regarding proof of funds do I have to bring the full amount in cash with me, it is illegal in Egypt to travel with more than 10,000 USD in cash. Can I bring over an updated bank statement from my bank in Egypt that shows my funds available in bank certificates or time deposits? I am willing to cash these certificates and deposits and transfer them to a Canadian Bank account once I open one when I come to Canada?
So can I bring over 7000 USD in cash and the remaining amount to cover my proof of funds can be supported by an updated bank statement?

Well! it's illegal in Canada asln to bring more than 10,000 CAD so they will definitely accept your proof of funds, no need to worry

Carry the amount of cash you'll need for your stay there, the number you choose. And for the rest show the POF printed bank statement.

-it could be a silly question but shld I do the computerized fish w tashbih or the manual one, some one told me they do not stamp the computerized one!!

I read the same but I'm not sure if they reject the computerized one. Personally I used the ink one

Can never be guessed, no one can tell you that but from what I read it took 2 days for some people and up to 2 weeks for others.

If you go early its usually finished on the same day in a whole process of a few hours.

It's not illegal. You can carry as much as you want (if you can get it out of your origin country). You just need to declare it.

You fill two forms after declaration.. and you definitely got into a lot of a questionable process. and btw, it's not illegal either to get >10,000$ out of Egypt, you only have to declare it too, the process is questionable too
the illegality comes if you don't declare the amount of money you have, and you have more than the money limit.

It's pretty easy to avoid the questions really. Just get bank statements to support your case.

I don't think there's a rule when it comes to showing why you're carrying more than $10k. A bank statement would help show how you possibly got to acquire that amount. I personally managed to get a bank statement for the past 5 years and it shows salary remittance from all my employers during that period. I used that statement as a supporting document for proving work experience and plan to use it in case I carry more than $10k during landing. While it may be an overkill, it basically cost me the same amount as requesting a 1 day statement. And before you ask, I didn't upload the entire statement (because it's impossible!), but only uploaded the pages that showed salary remittance.
