Effective Deadline?

Now we all know that cic will release new policy next year.

So the question is, is the deadline to submit the application being anytime before next year ? Or does the deadline actually mean the AOR date should be before next year, which means the deadline is really some where at November ?

Your application will make sense only when CIC accepts it , which means an application # provided to you which is AOR , Plan accordingly and send application keeping buffer of 15 -20 days before Jan 2015 .

CIC considers the application received date at their offices when deciding under what rules the application is to be assessed.

Since courier companies takes just 1-2 days to deliver, will there be any issues if application is sent between 15-20th december?
I am waiting for some documents from my wife who is not in Canada, so just want to check by what time I should submit documents?

It seems like CIC is not longer accepting applications under CEC
