Does anyone have any idea on How CPC-Ottawa will react on TRV visa if applicant send passport for PR visa stamping and COPR ?

Are they gonna cancel it once they issue One time immigration visa with COPR? Does anyone have idea on it ?

My wife is on TRV in canada and i am going to send her passport to CPC-Ottawa .

Are they gonna cancel it ?

Anyone have any experience

I have read on these forums that they do cancel TRV visas (without prejudice) but would know soon after they send back my passport.

The PR card it seems takes 45 days to arrive. It looks like my travel alternatives include:
1) Get a PR travel document http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/ to enter Canada again.
2) Entering Canada by personal car

My partner is also on TRV. PR app is on going, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Anybody here have any thoughts?

they should not cancel the current visa as it would leave you without status in Canada. the TRV will be canceled when you come back to Canada at the border by the immigration officer and become a PR.

I will for sure update actual status once I will get my passport back.
