Hello,
I wish to remove my spouse's ~2 years of workex from her personal & work history section in the PR application form. Reason being she had to leave her firm post an altercation with the manager. I am not claiming any points in CRS from my spouse's work ex. However, need clarification on the following -
- i fear that if IRCC does background checks on my spouse's personal history, they might get in touch with this employer and it could have a negative effect on the application. How stringent are these checks? At what level are these checks done for a spouse (who is not a principal applicant)?
- This experience was in the U.S. Does IRCC have access to US SSN# of candidates? Even if i plan to add these details, would the checks be as simple as calling company's HR and ask "did she work there"? Or would it be much more detailed?
Please guide.
