Effect of Canada Federal Elections on PR processing timelines

I wanted to ask if you think the Canada Federal Elections going to be held in October will further delay processing timelines of our PR applications? Is it anyway dependent on that?

Probably not immediate but at this point in time it's pure speculation, and therefore pointless.
