Hi Everyone!

I got a EEBC international post-graduate nomination on March 25. I'm currently living in the US and I don't have a valid Canadian work visa. I got an email with the confirmation of nomination but it did not come with the work permit support letter.

I recently got my EE AOR and following the BC PNP instructions I applied to get the work permit support letter.

I was wondering if someone is in the same situation and can share how long it took to get the work support letter.

Can't wait to be back in BC :)

Thanks!!

Thank you but I've already read that. I'm not asking about eligibility.

What I'm asking if its someone has recently applied and can share how long it took to get the letter or a response after submitting the application for the letter.

Sorry I thought you were asking about eligiblity because it states you must have a valid work permit expiring within 150 days to be approved for a letter. You said you were in the US so I thought you didn’t have a valid work permit.

Yeah I think you are right...maybe I misunderstood the process.

In the BC PNP guide it says that the nominee is expected to obtain and/or maintain a work permit following nomination and that at the time of nomination, the BC PNP may automatically include a work permit support letter in your nomination package if:
• you do not already have a valid work permit OR
• your current work permit will expire in the near future

So I was assuming that because I don't need a job offer to be nominated I would get the support letter to move to BC without a job offer...I even wrote that in my PNP application.

Well I already applied to the support letter lets see what happens.

You say that now, but can you afford it lol?

BCPNP states post-nomination requests, which I would assume a WPSL would qualify as, to be 3 months.

3 months for a f*cking letter for a someone who already got a nomination. What a joke. Why don't they just give it people and so they don't have to waste the candidate or province's time?

All the best. If declined, you will know why.

Hi, I am a EEBC outland. I got PNP Nomination. In the Nomination says

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
' If you do not have a valid work permit, you must apply for one within three months of
your nomination date.
Also, within three months of receiving your work permit / work permit approval, you
must make reasonable and continuous efforts to begin working in B.C. with your supporting
B.C. employer. '

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have applied for PR in EE portal with added 600 points. Do I need to travel to Canada BC and start working immediatly? As my daughter is studying and it is middle of her school season, I want to want till end of school season or till I get COPR.

Will my nomination be cancelled due to my location not in Canada? me and my spouse are working outside canada currently.

Please help.
