Hi everyone,
I received a BC PNP nomination through the tech pilot program (engineering) back in February, got my Express Entry invitation in March and got my documents ready and applied for permanent residence on April 28th. However due to COVID-19 my employer is severely struggling and I'm gonna be on indefinite unpaid leave starting June. I really don't see the company surviving in the next few months either.
My intention is to withdraw/cancel my PR application and apply through the Canadian Experience Class, which I am eligible for and my CRS score is higher now too (1 more year of work experience).
Does anyone have experience cancelling PR applications with provincial nominations? I found this IRCC webform, however it's a bit confusing. Do I select "withdrawal of application" under "type of inquiry" and explain my reasoning?
Has anyone done this? How long does it take to withdraw/cancel PR applications?
Thank you so much!
