EE who waiting more than 2 months after AOR join here

Nice Ozzy congrats!

I'm finally seeing a bit of movement:

They requested my language certificate (I already uploaded it at the beginning but, whatever, I'll take it).

Apparently my medical had been lost due to "a glitch in the system" and will have to be manually uploaded.

Review of documents is "Provided".

Review of eligibility and review of medical are now in progress.

I'm still terrified of being cancelled as I lost the job which I earned the 600 points for a few weeks ago so if they cancel me I'm very screwed.

Does anyone know if it's possible to be cancelled after the language certificate has been provided? What about after review of documents is set to "Provided" does that mean I can finally relax?

Don't upset hulahoop,

I know how you feel and I believe you will get ppr soon!
If they ask any additional docs which means they still processing your application and language certificate is mandatory.
I've been waiting for over 4 months and still here..

After four months, today i got an update and its just background check from 'Not needed at this time' to "Not Started". Hula hoop what does your background say? I was waiting for my medical but its just background.

thats a long wait compared to some ppl who get PPR in two month, but i guess we jus gotta wait, if six mths have passed then we freak out lol

But seriously, happy things are moving for you. Things have finally just started moving for me too last week. Just terrified of being cancelled. If I'm not being cancelled they can take as long as they like...

Hi, no schedule A request (whatever that is).

My final PR Confirmation letter arrived in the post last Thursday ( 1 week after I posted my passport copies) and I flag-polled last Friday so I'm officially a PR now.

Thanks for all your help, it really just happens pretty quick after your medicals are set to passed it took 2-3weeks.

Hey Ozzy! How's it going have you flagpoled yet?

Last week the doctor who gave me the medical got a call from CIC saying that my medical hadn't been uploaded "due to a glitch" and that it'd have to be uploaded manually.

Then almost immediately after the following all happened at once:

My Ecas status changed to Application Received (still just two lines though) and MyCIC changed to the following:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Review in Progress
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
A final decision has been reached Not Started


And I got a letter requesting my language test result certificate, which I uploaded.

All of this happened simultaneously on Friday.

I'm praying to every god I can think of that I don't get cancelled at this point because if I do... well I don't have many points without the 600 points I had for my job which I no longer have.

I have no idea if any of that reflects on yours or anyone else's experiences?
