Case specific inquiry takes 7-30 days + to receive a respond depending on the case itself, if it is urgent they will respond right away. I once submitted a case specific inquiry regarding my express entry application and got a respond in 7 days.

On the other hand, I am currently working on the additional documents that were requested - Police Certificate and Schedule A. Turns out I didn't complete the personal history section and left some blanks so CIC requested a Schedule A for that particular period of time.

I hope the rest of you will hear some movements soon. Once your medical is set to passed and no additional documents are needed then you should be on your way to PPR. My medical was changed to Passed the same time CIC requested additional documents.
I have no idea why some people get requests for more and some are summarily cancelled. Seems absolutely bizarre.

Today my ecas changed from Application Received on January 2nd (when I created my EE profile) to: "Application Received on February 18th (when I really submitted my app)"

Does it mean they have opened it?

Hi fvidania!
Our ECAS also change from Application received on January 28,2015 ( profile created) to Aplication received on March 14( application submitted)
From 3 liner to 2 liner( May 22,2015)

My ECAS changed today too - still 'in process' and only 2 lines, but it updated to the date they received the application (Feb 20), and 'we started processing your application on April 14, 2015'. I have no idea what the significance of April 14 is unless this is when they created the file as it was around this date that I was first able to get in on ECAS.

It is nice to finally hear about some movement on some people's applications who have been waiting and posting on this board for so long. Fingers crossed for you all.

Mine also changed this morning

from

We received your application for permanent residence on January 9, 2015.
We started processing your application on February 1, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

to

We received your application for permanent residence on March 11, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Doesn't say "we started processing your application on...". I guess they haven't even opened my file yet? :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(\

I'm under pnp and got ITA on January 31st.
