Are you CEC, Nitt?

No suggestions sorry, there are a lot of us in the same boat.

I'm just interested in this theory that CEC cases are, on the whole, moving slower than other cases.

Seems there could be some credence to it.

I was waiting for the 27th to be exactly 2 months...but inweeks it is already... Sooo...

Submitted 27th Feb

Ecas

Im starting to think that if you have a few months left on WP they drop you to the bottom of the pile and work on those that have less time left. Pritty much the way i see it. I have seen 3 guys now in town that received emails from CIC saying they must stop working and 3-4 weeks they all back smiling as they have PPR. Way i see it maybe been proactive trying not to run out of time works against the application

Well, then I should see something soon, since my WP is expired now.
I first applied end of October, to get the file back in February (cap)
Then I created my EE profile (Feb 13) and submitted it. Got ITA on Feb 20th.
My WP was valid until Apr 13th. I was able to submit my EE CEC application on Apr 4 (had to wait for some docs).
I applied for BOWP on Apr 12. Since I didn't receive the AOR, I'm hoping to see some change in status that at least at the time they look at my BOWP application, my CEC application is in a state that the BOWP can be approved.

Hi,

I'm another CEC applicant who has seen no progress....

I received an ITA on Jan 31st
Submitted application on Feb 20th
The review of eligibility immediately changed to = in progress
Everything else is still "Not needed at this time"

I've finally been able to get on ECAS as of a week ago and only when I search under my file number. It doesn't recognize my UCI number yet.

The status on ECAS is

1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 31, 2015.

2.We started processing your application on January 31, 2015.

My work permit has expired and I'm waiting on a bridging open work permit application too (51 days and counting....) so I'm hoping things start to move soon.

hello guys don't blame CEC or FST for being late in getting updates. I am FSW n submitted my application on 7th feb. I called CIC n they said your file is in process and we don't need anything. I am waiting for three months now because one of those agents said that sometimes it takes up to 3 months to upload the medical.

I got ITA and submitted my application. I have realized that i didn't add my Work Permits and spouse visitor and WPs in the documents.
I attached NOA's,T4,payslips etc but forgot WP records. I am worried now.
DO you guys think its not an issue and they will ask for the same ??right Huh?? please some positive words!!!

Did you apply online for the BOWP? Because the online processing times are around 61 days at the time, so in that case you should see some response to the BOWP soon.
I also applied on Apr 12th (WP valid until Apr 13). I tried to wait as long as possible since I didn't receive the AOR

no EET. my E-cas still show back home address. everything is slow this category

Hi,

Since you mentioned that you are able to login to ecas, what Identification type did you use? because I used my Client id, application number and even receipt number. but didnt work for me. Any suggestions will be welcomed. :) Thanks

Hi - yes I applied online. The website was updated with a processing time of 62 days, today, so I should get an answer in a week or so. I'm not feeling very confident about whether the AOR I received is going to be sufficient for the work permit, but didn't have any alternative.
