Dear Seniors,
Need your urgent help.
I have just received feedback from the VO (through my lawyer) on my application. For some reason the VO has requested for documentation which has already been submitted to my lawyer:
1. Birth Certificate for myself (primary applicant) and spouse
2. Bank Statements
3. Reference letters from employers
The lawyer has acknowledged that my birth certificate was not uploaded (due to a technical glitch), and my bank statements show balances which is close to 3 times their minimum settlement fund requirements. It could be that they need the statements all the way up to the 12-Oct, which should not be a major problem as I am a few days away from the month end to have the new statement issued.
The same applies for my reference letter which is as detailed as it can get. Anyway the above documents can be resubmitted by my lawyer, however my major concern is that of my wife's Birth Certificate, which is a document not in our possession.
I provided a Certificate issued by the Consulate General of India (Dubai, UAE) which confirms my wife's date and place of birth as well as parents names, however SINP have stated that they will not accept this certificate, and that I have 45 days to produce another document issued by a government authority. Does any one know what more I can do as we have tried in vain to obtain a copy of the document or new original from the authorities back in Calcutta (wife's place of birth) who are unresponsive. Her birth certificate probably went missing 25 years ago.
Please help!
