Been a year since I got my application back due to quota being filled.

Made an express entry profile.

Score is 438. Been waiting ever since and the ITA just doesn't come.

PGWP expired and restored status as Student.

No options to increase score other than to do a Masters or go work in another country to increase work experience. Both options not so possible right now.

What can I do? Believe me I know immigration is not a right and a privilege. But 9 years of my life I have spent in this country. There has to be some way out?

Please advise/comment/suggest. Thanks!

Try rewriting your english tests- I started with 433 points redid my CELPIP, got higher scores and it increased to 479.

Don't loose hope. You have come such a long way that there is no turning point now. Seniors like Asivad Anac estimate, the scores to go down upto 430. Last year, CIC had a backlog to clear still the scores did fell to 450. With backlog (hopefully) gone, the scores should fall.

Wait for 2-3 more draws or else try for PNP route. Wish you all the Best.

Check all provincial nomination programs and go to the province that will give you a nominee. I did the same, found a province and went there and then got a nominee. Although it took a lot of time and money but it s worth it .
Thanks

I have kind of maxed out on english scores. The most I can increase to is 444 by taking it again. So..

Asivad Anac can you please comment

I have heard your name a lot on the forum. Seems like you are very popular. Not sure why as I haven't followed much

I have looked at a few pnp. It seems as if you have to have a valid work permit for you to qualify. To get those points or something..

Not exactly sure I qualify for any of them

Can you shed some further light to point me in the right direction.

Scores would eventually fall but it would take at least a few more months for it to reach before 440, I would say at least 10 more draws ....

I suggest you go for a PNP if you have a chance at one.

Regards,

Wait for the rules to be tweaked.
Scores will fall or 450 would be the base score.
The cic would make this clear in next 4 to 5 draws.

Hi bud

that is not true but agreed , that many provinces ask for one year work experience, however, not all of them have this requirement. For example, Nova Scotia , please , check it out. Do you have anywork experience in Canada?

I am pretty sure no PNP programs are possible for me as one or the other condition is not being met.

I am seriously considering withdrawing my profile and making it again. I did this back when the opnp came out but did not get a pnp invite. I am not sure if I should attempt this again.

Asivad Anic can you comment as well since your opinion is so highly regarded.

Definitely recreate your profile to see if Ontario sends you an invite. Provinces like NS, PEI, NB have programs which do not necessarily require having a locals job or connection to the province. Check their sites and forum threads to see if and when they open for 2016 and be prepared for that.

All the best!

Ontario sends PT to almost everyone who has
- CRS score of 400
- Bachelors
- Profile is created after 01st June

ry recreating your profile and you should expect the PT from Ontario
