Hello everyone

I just started my Express Entry profile and had some questions. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I worked as a paid Baker Apprentice in the past (2019) and have a full 1 year experience. I am currently working as a supervisor and have 8 months of experience. I would like to know if I can go ahead with my express entry profile? Since it says not to add any apprentice training as a job experience in EE profile.

Thank you

If it was paid, foreign experience and not part of a Canadian education program then yes.

Thanks @Naturgrl. I was paid in cash and I deposited in the bank which means I don't have any pay cheuqes. Since I am from India some jobs don't provide a lot of documentation. However, I do have employment letter (which I submitted previously to IRCC while I made my Study Permit Application).
The Job I am working now is all documented as it is a franchise and my post has also been upgraded. Is it still better to include this in my profile?

If you have documentation and proof of job (mandatory documents) then you should be okay Are you applying to FSW or CEC since you state study permit.

I have employment letter signed and stamped as proof of the job.

I'm applying for FSW. My study permit didn't go through.

In March I will be completing 1 full year so will that be my base employment as of now? (as stated on express entry profile)

As long as your skilled work is continuous in one skilled NOC for one year full time, you may be eligible. Watch for changes to Express Entry as government has indicated changes to the program - specific NOCs to meet skills shortages etc.

Hello @Naturgrl

Is it okay for me to update my new IELTS/CELPIP score after I apply for EE? I would like to apply for it asap so I can stay in the queau and continue to update my profile as I get more eligible? Is that okay to do? I entered my previous IELTS - Academic results in my profile as of now and I believe I can do better with IELTS General.

IELTS Academic cannot be used for EE profile, only General.

I have crs score of 361 right now with Ielts academic which I used because I know I can get the same when I do ielts general.

My scores are
Speaking 7.0
Listening 8.0
Reading 7.0
Writing 6.0

I don't need ECA since I have foreign education from Canada itself from 2015-2017 I did two one year diplomas.

I have 90 points from education and 110 from IELTS based on Academic results though as I'm using those as the standard.
