Hello Seniors,

Please advice..

I got confused....

there is a question for EE profile - " have you applied to citizenship and immigration Canada before? "

I have studied for 2 years in Canada.... means I applied for study permit and then work permit...

but I haven't applied for immigration purposes before.... so what would be its answer -- yes or no ??

Really appreciate your help..

Thanks you..

The answer will be no, if you haven't applied for PR or citizenship before.

But if I answer yes, it asks for Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number, that I have with me...

Well i have also done my studies from Canada, and i answered no, so far everything is good and they can pull your UCI number from their records, as you are applying for immigration they are most probably referring to any immigration applications.

Answer should be yes and provide your UCI number.
It doesn't matter whether you applied for PR or not, the question is whether you have contacted CIC for workpermit/VISA/PR.

Thank a lot...

one more question if you can help with that...

- right now I am not adding any representative(immigration consultant) for my EE profile submission. I am doing myself.... Can I add a representative once I get an ITA ??

Thanks

You can change your mind any-time for adding / remove representative during application in-process.
For updating representative info use Case Specific enquires.

If you have a UCI, answer Yes. Else answer No.

I posted a related question in another thread, but posting it again here in case this gets more visibility. Appreciate any help ...
I had PR status as a dependent of my father a few years ago. I couldn't make the requisite days to keep it due to personal reasons, and hence I lost it. Now I am applying through EE again.

There is a question on the e-APR that states:

Have you applied for Permanent Residency before?

I am confused about how to answer it, as I never applied by myself but got it through my father. If I say yes, then do you know where to find the "PR File Number" that is asks for? How does it look like? I do have the landing document and the expired visa on my passport.

Answer No. You didn't apply for PR, your father did.

Does the same apply to the PR Application itself (i.e after ITA). I'm filling that and I have a Visitor's Visa application that hasn't gone through yet nor been rejected. I don't have a UCI number so I chose No.

Is this correct? Thanks
