Hi,
I have had to update my express entry profile to reflect new passport details. When I had created my express entry profile in Oct 2015, I had declared my funds as 12,000 CAD (which was the minimum criterion at that time). I have more than that amount available in my bank account. When updating my new passport details, I forgot to update the funds available. With modification in funds available requirement from CIC -

I need to show I have 12,164 CAD to support myself, which I posses (attached latest bank statement when I created a cse for this issue). I am unable to update the profile now though. Also I have already sent my application to OINP for processing. How do I quickly reactivate/make eligible my EE profile ? Can I call CIC and explain to them what has happened ?

Thanks

Your best bet is to make a new profile, then quickly email or call OINP and ask them to transfer the application over to your new application and profile. Include the old and new profile numbers, and explain to them what happened- they are usually very good with cooperating with the applicant in situations like these.

Would anyone be able to guide how can I call up OINP or email to them ?

Thanks!

Look up on their website. Their website has email address and phone number of their immigration office.

Once the profile become ineligible,, you cannot revoke it. Delete it and create a new profile and send the details immediately to OINP. Have you got AOR yet?

Hello Someone,

Please what is OINP and AOR, a lot of abbreviations but am doing my best to keep up.

Thanks for the advice guys. I did recreate my EE profile and filled up the ONIP form and sent to Ontario along with a letter of explanation to them with details regarding the new profile. I also sent an email to ExpressEntry at ontario.ca giving details that I have had to recreate a new EE profile, upon which I got a reply from Ontario :
If the profile on which you received a Letter of Interest became ineligible, you have to advise our office.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will continue to process your application if you create a new Express Entry profile, however, to do so we require you to provide the following within 30 calendar days of receipt of this notice, or if you have not yet submitted your application, with the application:

1. The Express Entry number/job seeker validation code for your new profile;
2. A copy of the letter you have received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada acknowledging the new profile; and
3. A letter explaining why you updated your profile and a list of the additional or updated information you provided in your new Express Entry profile.
I emailed the new codes, LOE, acknowledgement of new EE profile and asked Ontario if I should mail the same. Ontario just has acknowledged the email that I sent. Any advice if I should mail them the details that they have asked ?

I received a second email on April 11 from Ontario asking for the below:
1. The Express Entry number/job seeker validation code for your new profile;
2. A copy of the letter you have received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada acknowledging the new profile; and
3. A letter explaining why you updated your profile and a list of the additional or updated information you provided in your new Express Entry profile.

Even though the AOR acknowledgement email that sent has the new EE ID, not sure why are they asking the docs again. I had emailed them before on March 17th which they acknowledged and emailed them the docs again today.

Am I expected to mail (post) the docs as well ?

Appreciate any help!

No need, they were just lazy to look for the March 17 email.

Hi,

I am in similar situation. My PR was rejected due to spouse PCC not provided so i created new EE profile and sent mail to OINP at expressentry@ontario.ca to link Prov. Nomination to my new EE profile. I immediately received auto generated standard format acknowledgement email that response will be shared with in 15 days.

its already been 13 days since i sent mail to OINP and have not got any feedback on my request.

Could you confirm , in how many days you received response from OINP requesting for documents again.
Did you send follow-up email after 15 days or called up OINP.
Have you nomination linked to new EE profile now ?

Really? because am in same dilemma. I just summited my express entry profile yesterday and it came out as ineligible. Although I have spotted where I made the mistake but I could not find any available button in order to update my profile. So in my own case, do you still say delete and make another profile?

I was an eligible Express Entry Candidate. My complaint is that i made i mistake when editing the funds am bringing to Canada .I typed 3100 instead of 31100 by mistake. When I transmitted and logged back in I was told i was not eligible again.And I couldn't edit it.

Please help me with this issue I have till this coming Friday to apply to Ontario.I was given Notification of Interest.
