EE Profile - NOC on Work Permit Question

Hi All,

I've created my EE profile yesterday. I'm a PGWP holder and there was a question (in valid job offer part) asking if I have my employers name on my work permit. I selected No for this question however the second question asked, how long have I worked for the current employer on work permit. I've been working for 1 year for my current employer so I selected 1 year (even though its not on my work permit). Then it still asked the NOC code on work permit.... even though I selected the option saying the employer is not stated on work permit it asked me for the NOC code on work permit which doesn't exit as I have PGWP. And no, there is no option to write N/A to this question as it is a drop down menu for NOC codes.

Can anyone tell me how they answered those 3 questions as a currently employed person with an open work permit such as PGWP?

Thanks!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You're getting those questions as you're claiming having a valid job offer, which is not the case. That's only for applicant's with LMIA or a LMIA exempt work permit which is employer specific.

Simply answer that you do not have a valid job offer.

Thanks Delpiero, but it didn't ask me such question of: do you have valid job offer?. It just asked those 3 questions I've mentioned.

But anyways I've just received a response to my profile 2 min ago with an overall score and a message attached. It says:

''In your profile, you said that you do not have a valid job offer in Canada or a provincial or territorial nomination.
Therefore, in order to activate your profile and be eligible to be invited to apply for permanent residence, you must
register with jobbank.''

Which makes my situation regarding valid job offer safe as I don't have one, so its good.

However there are two issues:

1- I've entered a Canadian Education of 2 years College Graduate Certificate program (full time) but I got 0 points from Canadian education. The institution is listed in CIC website and has that code.

2- I am currently employed with a NOC A job in Canada (and yes that's what I entered to my profile). It gave me 1 year experience from that job but it still asks me to register jobbank.

1 - You probably didn't answer correctly the education questions.

2 - That's standard procedure, just get it done.

1- Thanks for another proactive response with concluding an issue with the stupidity of the applicant, that's really helpful Delpiero. However, as you advised, I've checked my profile and I am quite confident with the answers. I've called CIC and it looks like they are receiving a lot of calls and forms related to this issue. Also, I've already found 4 people from my network are having the same issue even though they graduated from a post secondary 2 years program that has a valid DLI number. Oh and before you being very proactive and start throwing shit to the school I graduate, I believe University of Toronto is a valid institution for CIC. I am simply trying to find more people having similar issues (just like those 4 people I found) and how they resolved it.

2-I've already done it and for people who are having similar issues, it looks like you still need 24 hours for your pending status to change active in your profile even though you receive a message in mycic saying that its activated and you're in the pool.

1- did you answer yes or no to whether half your course was in English/French

2 - It instructs you to wait 24 hours

I apologize Delpiero and kryt0n, it looks like that question was answered Yes, and I guess Delpiero was right with the stupidity of applicants. I was just too frustrated with still having an issue after years of work permit/study/trv/ applications etc. and I guess I couldn't take any longer. I just spoke with a friend of mine it looks like he did the same mistake as well.

We've updated our profile with correct answer to that question but I guess it takes 24 hrs to get your point updated.

Again my apologies and thank you very much for your help.

We mentioned this because it's probably in the top 10 of mistakes applicants make. We get several posts a week with people asking why they haven't got the points for education and this is 99% the reason.

Remember none of us get paid here and none of us are experts, we just offer help from experience. When you come to this forum and ask for help, please don't shun it. Responses like this make it very difficult to want to help people. I accept your apology in this case though.
