Ever since I got my 1 year work experience in Canada, the required points for an ITA has shot up by a great margin due to the amount of ITAs they are sending out.
I was able to submit my EE profile on the 1st of May as that was when I had my one year work experience (my last requirement before submitting the profile). I scored 471 points.
The next draw was on may the 6th, with over 530 points, around 70 points more than the draw before it.
Now it seems that draw after draw they are only issuing 750ish ITAs, and the points stabilising at around 480-490. If this trend continues I and many others will not be invited. The longer this trends continues, the more people are piling up on top of me. I have one year left, and the process takes about 4-6 months.
Do they have plans to increase the amount of ITAs again? Is there a reason that so many people manage to have 480+ points every 2 weeks (and will that trend continue)? Is there anywhere I can find more information on the forecasts they have in mind with how many ITAs they will issue? My only source of information is conjecture and educated guesses from around the place.
