EE Points System

Hello All,

I am going to submit my application for the EE program and was wondering what is a good points score that one should get so that we have a chance to be invited?

Let's face it, if you were in that range, you wouldn't even be reading this. Lol

470-480_ ;D
Hmm, ITA in next draw, for sure!
The cream layer


450-460_
Hmm, ITA in next 3 draws
Still better than most in the pool


430-450_ :-\
Every draw has been giving out 1500! ITAs. these many people are always available above 450.
These guys are 'almost' there, but not really.
These guys are also in serious serious dilemma whether to accept the Ontario PT. (especially if CAD 1500 means something to them)
With all logical projections, it starts getting gloomy from this range.

410-430_
Well, if 430~ range is gloomy, you know what this is like.
The guys might as well go with PT from ON/Sask/others, take the 600 point jump to ITA-dom
These guys are definitely not getting ITA, if they maintain the score where it is, strictly based on "historical" data.

400-410_

Only hope for these guys is OINP/SINP AND these guys are well placed with points to be eligible for PTs.
Good for you, guys.
Again, hope from regular draws is really isn't existent.

350-400_ :
Woahh.
MANY MANY MANY people in this range, I believe, from the data someone shared on some thread.
These people are mostly targetting a better IELTS score (CLB 9+) to get a point bump so that they come to 400+ points.
Only then OINP becomes possible.
These guys are fairly short of getting ITA in direct draws.
Hope floats their boat.

300-350_ ???
I am not sure, what can help this score.
I guess, a LMIA/job offer would be the hope.
Only if your IELTS score is bare minimum, you can target CLB10, and get close to 400ish.
If you cross 400, good for you, your chances of getting ITA increase multiple times!
If you do not cross, well, realistically, it's tough.

The above response is the BEST! i am sure it will help newbies like me.. thanks much!
When i apply as a primary applicant I get about 420 points but when i do it with my wife (not working at the moment) we end up at 472!

Well Explained.
But will 450-460 range take next 3 draws to get covered up?
Asking this because score is already at 461 and the previous one was 474...so if not in 2 draws i guess in the third draw scores should be around somewhere between 445-450. Unless CIC takes a pause for couple of weeks which seems to be happening due to New Year Break.

Try to compute your score and let us know where you end up. Scores have dropped as low as 450, but that was way back. Higher you score, better are your chances. Good luck.
