Hi All!
I need some advice from all you experienced people. I submitted my EE FSW application on July 17, 2015.
I have 3 questions:
1. Under normal circumstances, after how many days of EE application submission, can I expect to get request to send my passport?
2. How many days do I have to submit my passport?
3. After how many days can I expect to get back my passport?

I need to leave the country for some work and hence need to plan a trip.
Thanks a lot in advance!

It all depends when you get an ITA, how quickly you are able to gather documents and upload them and submit a final application. Then CIC takes its own sweet time, which varies from case to case, to process you case. So it is extremely difficult to predict when a certain event may occur during the application processing phase.
Best not to keep your life on hold...

I have 3 questions:
1. Under normal circumstances, after how many days of EE application submission, can I expect to get request to send my passport? "Normal" has so many different definitions with CIC and applicants. It depends on your application type and your personal background for the most part. As a "standard" it takes over three months for PPRs to be delivered, again, this is a generalization of the process and every case is different.

2. How many days do I have to submit my passport? They typically give 30 days for submission after PPR

3. After how many days can I expect to get back my passport? about two weeks. Again, depending where you are applying from.

I need to leave the country for some work and hence need to plan a trip.

If the trip is within 4 months of your AOR date than you should seriously consider postponing or cancelling the trip, if is after you may have an answer by then but still, nobody really knows!
