Hi, just a quick question.
On the EE it is required that I work 12months as a full time working 30hours a week (1560hours total). As I can't do 30hours a week on my job I was thinking if say, I can reach the 1560 hours in 15 months would that count as the required work experience or do I need to work for 24 months as a "part-time"?
Thanks!

You need to complete 1560 hours in total. You can even work 20 hours/week or 30 hours/week.

If you do 30 hours/week you will need 1 year to complete 1560 hours..
If you do 20 hours/week you will need 1.5 years to reach 1560 hours and it will be regarded as part time work.
If you do 15 hours/week you will need 2 years to complete that and it will be regarded as part time work.

But dont expect to complete 1560 hours in 11 months and get EE eligibility..u need to work minimum 12 months.

Not sure if it gets counted if you work below 15 hours/week though.

Thank you sensay for the quick answer!
Regarding the 15hours/week "minimum" as you suggested, is there any place I can look up for that info?
For example, in my field of work, months like december I only work 1 week because my employer closes for christmas holidays, therefore I can't present proof of more than that week's hours. Does that break the continuous work? Or as long as you get your 1560 hours in the maximum of 24 months you're good?
Thanks again!

IMO Official breaks/declared public holidays are considered paid leaves, so if you are paid salary for those off weeks they should be included.
