Hello,

I an aspirant EE candidate with hopes that I'll receive ITA in coming few rounds. I checked EE Step by Step thread and couldn't find the answer.

What I need to know, and would really grateful if you people can help me, is about following queries:

1. When do I've to pay the fees? after getting ITA? Should I've to pay two separate fees? Application fee and for PR? from the following tool it only says 1 fees, that is of $490. Please explain

2. Do I've to submit original IELTS copy? I've only one copy. Should I ask for duplicate copy from the center?

3. What's the maximum period allowed to travel to canada after getting visa? 1 year?

4. I'll be free to go to any city/province? provided I'm not nominated by any one?

Sorry for the dumb queries but it will help me a lot.

An application fee of 550$ need to be paid while submitting your application, A RPRF of 490$ can be paid upfront, If not paid upfront IRCC will request for it in the later stage.

2. Do I've to submit original IELTS copy? I've only one copy. Should I ask for duplicate copy from the center?
All you need to subit is the scanned copy so i dont think you will need an extra copy

3. What's the maximum period allowed to travel to canada after getting visa? 1 year?
It is advisable to land before the expiry of your medicals

4. I'll be free to go to any city/province? provided I'm not nominated by any one?
Yes

Good Luck.

So paying $490 in the later stage won't affect my application in any way? Like, I pay $530 while submitting after ITA documents and 490 when the asked in later stage after a month or two? that would be fine?

Document they ask after ITA would be in softcopy? Including Medical, Police certificate and all?

What's the validity for medical certificate? Can I take it even before ITA?

Also, can i make Police certificate prior to ITA?

What's the validity for medical certificate? Can I take it even before ITA?Yes you can do that if you think you can get your ITA in the next month or so, Valid for 1 year.

Also, can i make Police certificate prior to ITA?Yes, But again it depends, Any PCC apart from your country of residence has to be issued after your last visit to that country.

Is this the source for sending softcopies? cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Also, regarding proof of funds....do I've to show it in documents after I got ITA?

If Yes, how important is the average balance of past six months? considering mine is well below the mark? what should be my course of action?

Yes, Proof of Funds is definitely required after ITA when you submit your documents. And you will need to show it again in many cases when you do your landing at a point of entry once you get PPR.

If your 6 month balance is signifcantly below the minimum but you have the correct amount in your account now, you will have to provide proof of where tjose funds came from. So if you got the money as a goft, you will need a gift deed fom that person to prove that the money in the account is yours and not borrowed.

I think you would need to put the money in a bank account because I wouldnt know how you can prove to IRCC that you have 12,000 CAD in cash at home for example.

Yes, that I understand.
But would that be fine if I deposit the cash? how would it cover my 6 month average?

If you suddenly deposit 12,000 dollars in your account, then you would need to add an explanation of where the money came from and be able to prove that it is yours and not borrowed.

To be honest, that might be difficult, if you claim you were saving it in your house as cash and then just deposited it in the bank.

Yes, many on the forum here have gone the gift deed route and it seems to work just fine.
thanks,

is there any format for this gift deed letter?
Apart from getting it notarized what else would be required?

Also, what about property? can i show a property and the amount paid to it?

Funds are only valid for proof of funds if they are in some liquid form so that you can access them at any time. A property would not qualify for proof of funds. Cash or any equivalent investments that can be cashed at any time like stocks are fine though.
