EE declined and impact on spousal sponsorship

Hi there, I'm awaiting an ITA for my EE application currently and am wondering if spousal sponsorship is in fact a more 'reliable' route rather.

I've taken the skilled worker avenue having been advised by a lawyer this would grant me my PR the quickest given I've a good CRS score. I'm wanting to clarify however if my full EE application for PR is denied, could this effect my ability to apply for spousal sponsorship through my husband afterwards?

FSW path can be relatively faster as there are chances of file getting processed in about 6-7 months vs spousal sponsorship which may take about a year.

Your FSW rejection probably won't have any impact on spousal sponsorship unless your file is rejected for reasons such as fraud and misrepresentation.

Fraud/misrepresentation would affect any future applications. Besides that, there’s no negative impact of a refused EE application.

I would say you go for spousal sponsorship because EE is taking around 8-10 months lately and in some cases more than a year. Through SS route there are very less chances of rejection.
I've applied through EE and approaching 9 months completion of waiting period. I've seen cases where SS applications are processed in 4 months time. All in all, it depends on your luck but SS is certainly much safer route.

There is nothing stopping from leaving Canada. The issues are as follows: (1) If you leave, there's never a guarantee you'll be allowed back in and if for any reason you're denied entry, this would effectively cancel your application; (2) The inland route requires you to be cohabitating with your sponsor in Canada. If you spend too much time away, you risk having your application canceled for failing to meet this requirement.

Yes saw the latest draw but does seem to be coming down. Lats lawyer suggested by next month draw should be around my level - is that normal?
