EE-CEC Proof of means of financial support

Hi guy,

I got ITA on Jan 25 and I'm currently preparing my documents. I was invited under CEC, according to CIC website, CEC applicants do not have to provide POF while the system now is asking for it.

I have a stable job in Toronto now and have been working full time for 2 years. My spouse also has worked full time for 6 month till now.

So for the POF part, i'm going to provide our NOA, T4 and pay stub along with a explanation letter.

We have about $7,000 in our account currently. Do I have to provide bank statement as well?

No need, simply upload a letter stating that you've been invited under the CEC program and thus, POF are not required.

I am also selected under CEC category do I need to attach anything under proof of funds, considering I am not currently in Canada and do not possess any valid visa or permit to enter Canada currently?

As long as you've been invited under the CEC program no POF are required.

Yes, I showed my Cibc account history for past 6 months...although it contain 4/5K

Does Provincial nominees also need to show proof of funds?
