I did medical test couple of weeks back for the work permit. I didn't submit the PR application yet.

I don't think so. I've read in ircc website that only the main applicant can get upfront medical. For the dependents, they have to wait for the instruction letter from ircc. I think the EE letter you got from ircc after you've been nominated and invited is sufficient enough for your dependents to do the medical exam now. Just show the clinic that letter and they are good to go for medical exam.make sense. Ok sure.
