Hi guys,
I know there are many helpful people here. I'm preparing to apply for immigration under EE and would appreciate your opinions regarding my current situation.
I have being working for a it company based in Calgary for 11 months. Since it's a contract position, and I was just informed that my contract will get renewed for another year. This is a big company and is only willing to offer me one year contract for now. Don't know what's gonna happen the next year. Besides, the hr department has very strict rules regarding the reference letter that they issue..

Meanwhile I also got a permanent job offer from another company in Toronto. The salary is not as good as the first one. But I feel the boss is a really nice person. I'm struggling which offer I should accept.... I'm afraid if I accept the second offer and leave the company that I'm currently working for, I might not be able to get a good employment letter for immigration. Cause I'll need to relocate to Toronto and it's hard for me to keep in touch with the old company. I do want to include this 11months working time for my EE score.
Please offer your suggestions. Thanks !!!

Hi Saj,
Thanks for the reply.
One of my biggest concerns would be: even though I get the employment letter, there might be a chance thatCIC contact the company to verify my past experience. If I'm not working there anymore, I don't know if the HR still remembers about my detailed job duties, or even worse if they're not happy with my leaving.....

Please help. I need to make a decision as soon as possible.
What would you do if you were in my position?
It is really a torture trying to figure out which one is the best choice..... ???

You can submit the tax documents and pay stubs too with the reference letter. Thats a good proof for your employment in the company. I dont think any HR will cause any issues simply because an employee leaves the company for better opportunities (unless you have some serious issues with the management :) :D )

Thank you again Saj!I don't have any issue with the management. Actually it's a big company and I don't even know personally the management group and neither do they know me

But I have one more question.
I intend to submit pay check as a prove of salary and employment. But I find the working hours shown on the pay check are way less than my actual hours. And there are additions and deductions of numbers that I don't understand and will certainly cause confusion for others.
Would CIC determine my hours based on the pay check? Or they only look for salary figures on the pay check?
Help please

CIC will check the working hours which is mentioned in the reference letter.
