I sincerely appreciate your kind help!

I arrived at Canada at July 12, 2017. I would like to try to apply EE during these COVID-19 period.

I calculated my score:
before July 12, 2020, if the number of the years of work experience in Canada is used as two, my score is 452.
after July 12, 2020, if the number of the years of work experience in Canada is used as three, my score is 463.

My question is
Do you think if the score is ok for me to apply for EE?

If not, I have to wait till this July, the score is 463. And I would like to take IELTS exam again.

My another questions as below:

1. After application, will the score change with time? Does it change to 463 after July 12?

2. After application, I would like to take IELTS exam again. Can I update my new IELTS score into my profile and get a higher EE score?

3. After application, if I get back to my home country and stay there for example one or two months. Does it influence the application? What documents should I prepare for that?

Thanks a lot!!!

Difficult to make predictions with the uncertainty around COVID-19. 463 is a decent score. The latest draw (which was for CEC candidates only) was 455. So even 452 is getting close to the cut-off now, especially if they continue to make CEC-only draws.

Please note: creating a profile is not an application. It is only expressing your interest in immigrating. Only when you receive an ITA are you able to apply for PR.

1) Your profile will update automatically provided you stay employed.

2) You can update your profile with new information.

3) No it doesn't except you will not continue to accumulate Canadian work experience. Would also consider difficulties getting back to Canada in times of international travel restrictions and reduced international flights.

Thanks so much! Have a great day!

Hi, Dan,

I have an another question. Kindly appreciate your help!

After I receive ITA and complete the entire application, then I go back to my home country and come back Canada.

After I come back to Canada, Do I need submit a new police certificate in home country to cover no criminal record during the period when I travel back there.

Thanks a lot!
