EE Applicants with score 451 to 470 let's connect here

I am at 467. Will drop to 462 in May because of my birthday.

I was so happy when I finally got my IELTS result and got that 0.5 extra in writing. I was trying from over a year to achieve that. Had to take the exam 3 times. When finally I got it, the number of invitations started going down. How lucky??? :(

I am sure this year the scores won't drop below 465. It will drop to 465 Later towards the end of year.
So I don't know what to do. This waiting and disappointment are killing.

There were so many draws which were below 465 but I didn't not have the required score. Now when I have it, there is no use.

omg I am exactly in the same situation with you.
tried over a year on the language tests when I finally got the extra scores, the number of invitation dropped.
If I got the results a little bit earlier, my CRS was more than enough.

but do you really think the scores will never drop to 465 this year? :(
I didn't lose hope yet!!!!

My EE score is 456 points, I received PT notification in December, 2015 and I already submitted my application but I haven't heard anything from OINP yet.

Any possibilities that EE Score gets down to 455 or something ?

Any idea?? :(

It's just my assumption based on the things I read here and there. Nobody can predict accurately what will actually happen. So let's see. Lose hope or no, what will happen will happen. Let's be ready.

I wish I could I say yes, but based on the current trend, if the number is invitations don't go back to 1500, then the chances are very less
 
I am at 468. So frustrated with the past 3 draws.

For OINP, if I got my Master degree in BC, and have been working and living in BC, never visited ON, can anybody tell me if I qualify for OINP?

Let's hope the points will go down soon...

I am also at 463. Let us hope the cut off point will decrease or # ITAs increase in near future draws. If there will be any draw by next week, it will give us some hint. Let us all pray!

I just briefly looked at the BCPNP International Graduate Stream. I might qualify for it, except for one thing that it mentioned something about a competitive wage thats comparable to BC wage for the position. Not entirely sure what that means. Because I work in a non-profit, so the wage probably wont meet that requirement.
 
I had 451 last year when i got ITA :P but app got rejected.
Now i am at 448.

Asked my wife to go for IELTS, expecting results on 15th and filed for her ECA documents delivered today so expect that to be done in next 2 weeks.

If my wife gets 6 in each and ECA is done, i will hit 470 ;D :P

It's like a race now, even after completing Master's from Canada, the present situation is confusing for me :) :-\

IMO, the draw will be next wednesday only. From this year they are issuing ITA once in two weeks only. And their intention to keep the points above is so clear from the previous draws by reducing number of invitations and increasing points, so i dont think they will do a draw today.

If they reduce the points, for provinces there wont be anyone to give nomination and they will loose the application fees. So they will try to keep it high atleast till the provinces receive enough applicants for 2016.

My first post on Canadavisa. I'm waiting at 461 since the last 3 draws, WP Expired in October , Was on Implied status till Jan'16 , LMIA got declined, applied for a visitor VISA in Feb. :o
Could someone Please clarify a few doubts,
1. Does experience gained in canada while on implied status count? (The implied status was due to WP Extension filed as my LMIA(with PR) application was in processing.)
2. If after receiving AOR, i decide to visit India, would my application be treated as an inlander or an outlander?
3. Im on the edge here due to my status,please do tell me if anyone of you think the trend of 1000 ITA/draw would change soon/scores normalize otherwise.
4. Does any of you have an idea if OINP would issue NOIs or would our immigration minister make changes to help the international student soon.

I've maxed out on age and ielts, cant work anymore, i waited for receiving WES ECA to enter the pool and missed the first few rounds of this year.
I feel really bad at this point as if i would have entered the pool a fortnight ago i would have made it through , but if its the Syrian refugees causing these delays, i feel proud to be in a country that chooses humanitarian causes over economic.

I wish the best to all of you people travelling the same boat as i am, and i dearly hope that it docks soon! ;D :P

I am hoping bcz they have done it in the past to give the chance to 450+ candidates and its not going to effect # of ITAs bcz next draw they can conduct after 3 weeks. They have done it before lets see..
 
Guys when will cic conduct next draw?Is it tomorrow or Friday?
