Re: EE 429 points. Is it realisctic to expect PT notification of interest from OINP?

Thanks a lot! Really, so nice that people in this forum are so helpful. Good luck to all of you, guys!

BC4life,
what is your NOC? To my understanding, they tend to select more IT guys, system administrators, etc.
I have been reading a lot through the forum and came across with many guys in IT sector with CRS aroung 405-415 who had been issued a PT in just a couple of days. So, definitely, it's about NOC. I might be mistaken, please correct if so.

Is it mandatory to change CG keys and email address when recreating the EE profile?

My NOC is 0125 Other business services managers ; have no ties to Ontario and no work experience in Canada

I'm not so sure about them using NOC as one of their main filters. The NOCs you mention seem to be over represented so it makes sense that a significant goup of selected applicants in this forum would fit into those NOCs.

If I was the ON policy maker then I would definitely give NOCs some thought. But then if I were to be competent and effective about implementing the federal EE and/or PNP goals, I would be wary of being wedded to NOCs to begin with. Those are "flawed" classifications at best (who do you think finalizes those numbers and based on what? You might think the best but think of a group of incompetent bureaucrats taking comments from a closed group of so-called think tanks, scholars and reseachers of a certain type, private enterprises and employer groups with vested interests, and indy "watchdogs" with shoestring budgets and addled brains (sorry, I love you guys but that's how you effective you actually are in the real world).

In other words, I wouldn't be shocked if ON used NOCs to filter their PNP invites. However, the fact that I received a a PNP even with a NOC in one of the (if not the) most heavily regulated professions in ON leads me to believe that this whole thing could be from the slice of the universe where bugs bunny and daffy duck rule the world. Cheers.

Dear all, thank you for sharing!

I don't think it has anything to do with your NOC. I have recreated my profile 3 times, and no sign of PT :/

Score : 425
NOC : 2171

Not sure what is it that they particularly look for while giving out PT's. I expected that invitations will be system generated
based on the requirements they have stated. But apparently they have "hidden" requirements. Would it have anything to do with Nationality?

I am from Iran, living in India. Most of my indian friends have received PT, so just wondering if that might be the case.

Thank you for your comment. Let's hope for the better :)
I recreated my profile yesterday, however status is indicating that it's still pending job bank confirmation although I have already completed it along with EE. Also, when I tried to use old email with the new job bank account it said that I can not use it, and had to open a new email account. Is there any way I could use my original email with new job bank account?
thanks.

I just think they want mostly computing professionals, financial advisors, managers etc. This would be fitting for demand in Toronto, but im not certain on what ON needs overall.

Thanks for your comment. I also thought that they tend to select IT guys mainly.
Anyway let's hope for better

NewGirl_sk - I am surprised you did not get your nomination. I am at 440 and 2171 and I got my notification in 3 days.

I have read and heard a few people having success after recreating on a Tuesday. I wont swear by it but maybe worth a 4th try then.
