Hi everyone,
I apologize if this reads a little trivial.
I held a job position full-time from August 1 2018 to August 1 2019 during which I had an unpaid leave for 2 weeks due to family emergency. After this, I received a promotion for a title with a different NOC. Would the first job position meet the 1-year minimum work experience requirement?

Thank you kindly in advance.

Unfortunately, unpaid leave is not counted as work experience. So this means you have less than 12 months of full-time work experience.

Is this Canadian or Foreign experience?

This is Canadian experience, and I am applying in-land.
I just found this: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/urgent-cec-combined-work-experience-in-two-different-noc-code.533658/
But based on eligibility requirements, I believe I do qualify? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

For Canadian experience, you can add up experience in different NOCs as long as:

- NOCs are 0, A or B type
- You weren't a full-time student during the time your worked
- You weren't self-employed

This is true both for eligibility for CEC as well as for CRS points.
What a relief! Thank you @dan_and
