hello i am applying through EDWISE in programs in canadian colleges but today i visited CANAM consultancy seminar in delhi ..they told all the aspirants not to apply from any other consultancy since there is a law stating that any consultancy which is not registered under ICCRC are punishable under law called BILL C-35 and students may face rejection from the embassy ..and ur chances of getting visa are low if u apply from those consultancies ..how much true is this ??
doesn't really matter. Even ICCRC approved consultants have the same motto as others do, money. Why is it important to consult a consultant?
Why can't one apply directly, it's not a rocket science. You select a program, check and meet the eligibility, seek admission, check documents checklist of student visa of general or SPP category whichever applies to you, and submit your file.
Which part of the process you think you won't be able to handle yourself?
SOP, is it? As per rules, you are supposed to write your own SOP and even the consultant will make you write your own SOP. You can have ample sames of SOPs from this forum or google.
Finally, what's the need of consultants? They will suggest you a program in a college never a public university, they will even push you for a college where they have good terms and make more profit irrespective of your area of interest on which your career broadly depends.
Hence be it edwise, canam, global, kangroo, chopras or for that matter any consultancy, you don't need one... they all are the same.
