Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for express entry profile

Hello All,
I am newbies here, so pardon me if asking repeating question.

Have some question regarding the express entry aplication.

Btw, i am applying the application from india.. just to built back ground.

1)Due to indian culture, there are some suffix in my name.. so there are some diffeneces in name in passport and degree. Will it affects ?
2)What exactly so i need to do in ECA .?
3)Do i need to get documentation from secondary education board as well?
4)Actually, transcript been issued by college but all the marksheet by university. So is it acceptable to have only marksheet and degree cert ?

Hi

1. As long as name in passport and all applications (ECA) etc are in sink. Its good to go. Make sure, now on you use only name as in passport
2. For ECA, you need TRANSCRIPTS(marksheets / degree won't work, you need to have Transcripts issued from University) for gradutation, masters etc. Pay the fees and send it across for validation.
Its porpose is to map ur educational cred with Canadian standards. (its mandatory process)
3. secondary edu is not required
4. Transcripts have a particular format. ( Check on university site/ forums) 1-2 doc with all semesters' marks etc

It must directly be sent by the University to WES in Canada, WES doesn't accept papers sent by Individuals? What else should the packet contain? Transcripts, Xerox of degree certificates? and how long is WES assessment valid for, like IELTS for 2 years.

4. It is okay. You will need degree certificate as well as transcript.

For ECA follow the below instructions. I am from India as well and I have done it the same way successfully.
1. Use WES.org (google it)
Documents you will need
a. Your higher secondary education marksheet photocopy (12th or 10th which ever is higher level of education)
b. a downloadable form from WES website. (http://www.wes.org/required/international_transcript_request.pdf)
c. Your degree or diploma transcript AND degree/diploma certificate
d. a downloadable form from WES website. (same as above)

Steps
1. Fill the downloadble form for secondary education.
2. Go to your secondary/higher secondary education board and get the form filled, signed and stamped.
3. Request them to put the form, your marksheet in a sealed envelope.
4. Fill the downloadable form for diploma/degree education. Get it signed and stamped from Uni.
5. Get your certificate and transcript stamped and the form above in a sealed envelope.
6. Send the 2 envelopes prepared above to the WES. You can send it together.

The above process is to get valid documents for WES - ECA for immigration. Check out their website and follow the steps and you should be fine.

I think we dont need to send downloadable form. This is required just in case university wants to see the reason for transcripts. Please correct if wrong.
Just the transcripts (Sealed envelope) + degree/diploma certificate photocopy, putting both of these in another envelope and send to WES mentioning WES reference number.

Also we can send our own with a condition seal should not be opened.

I have transcripts that I got in 2015(sealed envelope), can I send that or there's some condition for transcripts should not be older than some months?

yes. you can.

I have mentioned a procedure thru which I got my ECA evaluated. Some universities might not provide you a sealed envelope in India. So better to submit that form.

You can consult WES.org, they have quite straight forward process.

You guys have clearly explained everything. Still i have some more doubt.

1) What do you mean by marksheet/transcript/degree cert? Is it Photocopy? Will photocopy of these documents will be stamped by authority and put in a sealed envelop? Any photocopy requirement like black and white or Color?
2) For Bachelor education documentation, can you please clarify a bit more? I mean University will issues a new transcript (I have one from college). Along with new transcript (original), university attested degree cert photo copy to be put in a University sealed envelop. Is my understanding correct?
3) I have seen the website of my university, they says that transcript shall be by given by college. Is this acceptable?

The Students, who have completed / incomplete(left) their studies from any affiliated college / institute of Sardar Patel University have to apply to their respective college/ institute with necessary fees & documents. After getting the transcript (with college sealed cover and signature) from the college, student can get it further sealed cover and university authorities signature (if required) from Examination section, Room no. 214 of University Administration Building.

Required Documents for Transcript (College Records):
Attach the following documents (photocopy & True copy) with the application form as given below.
a)Graduation degree & marksheet of all the years.(Also Attach marksheet of Fail. ATKT, Absent)

BELOW INFORMATION i have read on world education service for education credential assessment for express skilled worker, so any please confirm which type of evaluation should we do..
So for skilled worker we need only document by document evaluation or course by course evalutaion.

Dear All,
I am about to go for degree assessment from IQAS, Guys any one guide, I will be really appreciated,
I have two degrees bachelor in Commerce (BCOM) and Masters in IT (MIT), so I'll send my degrees separately by the each institute from where I have awarded degrees?
On the case of IQAS, should I send photocopies as well as original degrees and transcript?

Does WES require that you send transcripts and secondary school certificate? Thats odd. I am doing my ECA through Medical Council of Canada and they accepted only my final degree, no need for transcripts or anything else as CIC clearly wants the highest level of education you achieved. Hope that helps. Just wanted to clarify that the steps are much easier than some people think. I read on a previous post about ECA for doctors same as mine and someone was making it too complicated. All I sent was 1 true copy of the ID page of the passport, a copy of my degree and I then paid them to translate it to save me the headache of them rejecting it, identity confirmstion and release form. That was all and it got processed no issues.
