Hi experts,
One of my friend is planning to apply in electrician category, but his educational qualification is honors & masters in physics and also having 4 yrs teaching experience in college level. Now, he is gathering the documentation of 1 year experience as an electrician, and will apply in skilled worker category under one of the 29 occupations in the NOC list. My question is that, his present work experience as electrician will be how much relevant with his education and previous experience.

Please share your opinions.

All he has to prove is 1 year full time paid work experience in any NOC on the 29 list. His job duties on refference letters must match this NOC. His other work experience is not relevant for electrician NOC as the only wat to receive points for electrician NOC is to prove you have worked full time at least 1 year in the last 10 years as an electrician period.
