Hi there my name is Sajjad and did a Biomedical Engineering from Pakistan and doing a job as a radiologist technologist for past 4 years..... So some one told me why don't u apply for a canadian immigration he told me that u are eligible for skilled worker so my question from any senior member or any immigration officer is that should i apply for immigration as my education is not related to my profession ::)...........

thats ok. check the 29 skilled categories if your job duties matches with any one. its the job duties that matter not occupation.

check 29 listed occupations and hrsdc website for job duties

Thx u very much for ur response i compare the job duties and they matches accordingly so i will proceed my application as soon as possible and again thx u very much ..........

Pittabread is right its not necessary to have education relating to your profession.
The important thing is that
1)Your profession/NOC code should be listed in the list of 29
2) your job duties should exactly or atleast maximum match with your NOC
3) you should be able to score atleast 67 points.

Hope it helps, good luck!

How much point will i get of my 16 years education i did a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical engg.....

I think you should also check "Employment requirements" of your NOC. In Employment requirements, there is mentioned minimum qualification against each NOC. If your duties and employment requirements match then there is no problem otherwise it may be problem for you.
