Hi I got LOA from one of the colleges. I have 13 years of study gap and have relevant work experience. However I havent worked for a few years in between bcz I had to take care of my child. . So when I process for Student Visa, how can I justify this in SOP. Can anyone please share standard format of SOP stating reasons for education gap. Also is it advisable to go through agency for Visa processing or can we do it ourselves. Kindly advise me on the procedure.

The gap in general is not the problem as many have got VISA's even at more mature stages. The challenge will be to convince the VO of your motivation to study & what you wish to achieve with that. Also a detailed plan on what you wish to do after you go back home. Most agents for study VISA assist for free provided you go for admissions through them as well as that is how they make their money via commissions.
