Education Evaluation - FSWP - Mumbai University

For Education evaluation with WES Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations is mentioned.

I did my bachelors from Mumbai University and now living in USA I am really not sure how to get the university send these documents to WES. The university website, unfortunately, does not have much information.

Has anyone from Mumbai University been able to get mark sheet or transcript? - if yes, please do let me know the process. I had torrid time just getting my degree certificate from them, so have not much hope to be honest.

yep... i did it.
U just need to submit the copies of your final year marksheet and degree cert. to the officer at Mumbai University and tell him you need to get these verified.
He will ask for the originals just to cross verify.
Than u need to pay the fees(Rs.750 per copy)
Get the receipt back to the officer he than accepts your docs and tell u to come after 20 working days to collect the envelope.

The problem is that I am residing in USA and would not be able to do this process in person. I checked the university website, but not much information is available there.

yes... your friend can do it on your behalf only if he has your original docs(mark sheet & cert.)

read your reply and think you can help. did my B.E from Mumbai in 2003. have been to Student welfare dept in churchgate and kalina campus too.

student welfare notice was put up that "any documents older than 10 years to go to kalina campus".

went to kalina they said only the university issued marskeets and degree certificate will be verified. cost was Rs 1275/- per document!!

he asked me to get college marksheets attested from my college itself. (but all assessment org like WES or utoronto ask all marksheets to be attested by university?)

now i had emailed this issue to university of toronto CES dept which does credential assessments. they replied that they were aware of mumbai univ rules about marksheets and asked me to send the docs accordingly from univ and college. ( no mention of attestation. i guess they meant attested)

so does it mean that i just get my semster 2, 7 & 8 verified by kalina campus and rest of semesters from college and send the same for assessment?
also do the guys at kalina provide a sealed envelope for the verified copies?.

so in my case i do not have to go back to student welfare in churchgate?

Hey lids. Sorry for too many msgs.
I have my 1,2,7,8 semester verified by university of mumbai along with final degree and passing certificate. Do I have to submit just these or I LL need to attest 3,4,5,6 semester from college.

University said they will not attest/verify 3,4,5,6 semesters.
Does this mean i should submit 1,2,7,8and degree certificate to WES.
I am so confused. I called up Wes , waited for 30 mins on call and the lady said you have to get all semester from university. So please advice me lids

I am pretty angry at myself for not doing evaluation when I was in India.
I don't understand the concept of producing the original to the officials. They are expected to validate the documents with their records.
Now I will have to send these documents (originals included) to my friend.

Here in Canada, if you plan to enroll for services like careeredge.com you must have your credentials evaluated.
